The Christmas Party

Yesterday my workplace,Safeway,had a Christmas Party at a bar near there. The party began at 5pm. I went there after my work at 6pm. This is my first time to go to a bar. It made me a little exciting at first, but then I found it was a little boring. There were few people I know,and many people I saw before but not very familiar. I planned to go with two other Chinese ladies.But another lady who is very friendly to me at work came as soon as I got on my clothes.Then I decided to keep company with her. After her coming, she treated me a beer. Then we talked, laughed, and took pictures. This time I felt very interesting. I took many pictures with my colleague and talked much. I knew more about them then before. Maybe because the alcohol,I can communicate with them more fluently. We drank,ate and talked till 11pm.Anyway, it was better than I thought......

Take a rest

Finally, we finished.Yesterday is my final day in this semester.What's more, it's my final workday on campus as well! How excited I am!! To tell the truth, I really like the job on campus and I can work there next semester if I just send them an e-mail.However,I heard that our homework next is crazy.So I have to give up this job. I was excited yesterday because not only it was the final day, but my supervisor give me a greeting card! This is my first greeting card in Canada.
She said she really liked working with me because of my optimistic approach to work. By the way, she won't work there too,because she had found a better job. I'll miss her.There were some days that only she and I worked there in night. We worked very well and she was very kind even I did something wrong. Anyway,we hardly work together again,and I hope that I will have that kindly colleague in the future when I find another job. Now I just take a big~~~ rest. hehe I like holiday~~

The last one !!!!!!!

This is my last blog in the semester. How excited I am! Today we had a small party to celebrate our last class in this semester. We brought our food from home or bought some desert in markets. All of them are very delicious~~. I brought some noodles which is made by my mom this morning, but at the end of the part, I had to bring some back home-- I had brought so much that there are still lots of noodles left, I was a little depressed~. Oh, we also took pictures! I like taking pictures with my friends, classmates and our teachers, though I rarely see myself in the pictures because I don't like myself in pictures, except those taken when I was very very little.
Somehow I feel a little upset. In China, after the winter or summer holidays, I could still go to the same class with the same classmates. But now, I'm not sure we'll have the same classmates and teachers after the winter holiday. I think I've just begun to be used to the new environment, but I have to get a new beginning soon. I hope that nothing will change but the text books after this winter holiday......

Nothing

I still have two blogs to write, but I don't know what to say. I just study and work these days and haven't do anything special. I think a special thing happened recently could be our presentation. This time we tried a way to present. In the last presentation in the mid-term, we divided into 10 groups, and we planned to have 5 groups presented each day. By the way, we used powerpoint last time and one group just needed to present one time. However, this time, though we also divided into 10 groups, we used posters, and we had 10 people presented together! One of a group stood beside their poster, the other can walk around the classroom to have presentation from others'. In that case, we had to present more than once, and most of us had presented for three or four times. After the presentation, we are all tired, but anyway, we had practised some times before our instructor came to listen our presentations. I like this kind of new presentation. First, I haven't seen this kind of presentation,it's a little exciting. Second, we prepared much for it,like designing and drawing our posters. Third, we can really have fun when we have others' presentations.

The last week

How time flies!! I can't believe we only have one~~ week left! It seems I've just come to this programme. This would be an exciting week, but also a little busy. Actually, last week was the most busy week. We had lots of work to do. However, I went through it finally, unbelievable~ We are going to finish our term, every time I think about this, I will ask myself: is that true?
As usually, I can't help thinking about how to spend my holiday. In fact, I had delayed this kind of thinking for about half a month. On one hand, I was so busy to think about it because of the class and my part time job. On the other hand, the winter holiday here is so...so...so...short!!! In China, we have a very very big holiday during the winter because of the traditional festival. Then I would go out with my friends. I like winter because I had a lot of fun and memory in winter. And recently I found that the smell here is a little like the smell in my hometown~~ hehe Winter is always cold but has a lot of fun.
